Lint is built and operated by Osmove SASU, a Paris studio that designs, codes, and ships software products. We use Lint internally on every Osmove repo — it's not a side project.
Around 2024 the share of code our team wrote with AI assistance crossed 60%. Existing linters caught syntax issues but missed the new failure modes — silent error handling, dead branches, copy-paste of stale patterns. We built Lint to close that gap, then realized other teams needed the same thing.
Local-first. Open source where it should be (CLI under MIT, server under MIT). Paid only for the cloud collaboration features that actually need infrastructure. No surveillance pricing, no AI-priced-per-token traps.
