2. Service
Lint provides static analysis tooling distributed as (a) an open-source CLI under MIT license, (b) an open-source self-hostable server, and (c) optional managed cloud services (account, policy sync, audit log, integrations). The CLI and server are free. Cloud is paid per the published pricing.
3. Account & acceptable use
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. You may not (i) use Lint to violate applicable law, (ii) attempt to bypass security controls, (iii) reverse-engineer the cloud service, (iv) resell the service without a written reseller agreement.
4. Fees
Cloud subscription fees are billed in advance, monthly or annually. All fees are exclusive of VAT or sales tax, which we add at checkout per your jurisdiction. Failure to pay may result in suspension after 30 days notice.
5. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts in case of material breach with 30 days notice (or immediately for fraud, abuse, or non-payment). Upon termination, you may export your policy and audit data for 90 days; after that we delete it.
6. Warranties & liability
The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nanterre, France.
